Japan TAPPI 2004 was held at Sapporo Convention Center during
October 13-15, 2004. Japan TAPPI annual meeting attracts more
and more visitors year by year. Over the past few years, more
than 1000 people attended this paper event. This year, as
a special treat, attendees visited Tomakomai mill of Oji Paper
on Oct. 15th, 2004.
At the meeting, Maruishi put up an exhibition booth for finishing
equipments, with a general layout introducing Maruishi main
finishing machines and other auxiliary equipment such as pallet
robot, sheet counter with laser maker unit, skid dust remover
with vacuum brush, new roll conveyor, stack straightening
and centering machine etc.
In the meantime, Maruishi newly-licensed fully-automatic
(single and double ream) feeding system used for all types
of ream wrapping machines was introduced to public as the
first time in Japan. The Licenser representative - Mr. Rolf
Schneider from Schneider Engineering in Switzerland also presented
himself for promotion. This new automatic feeding system gained
an immediate attention at Japan TAPPI 2004.
Next year, Japan TAPPI will be held in Nigata Convention
Center, in Toki Messe during October 12-14, 2005. (14th visit
Hokuetsu Nigata Mill). So, please come to visit Maruishi exhibition
booth at that time!
