1) China Paper 2001 at Beijing

The biennial China Paper Exhibition was held in Beijing during September 25-27th, 2001. Maruishi introduced our company products especially those finishing equipment at our own exhibition booth, the same as we did forChina Paper 1999.

During the Exhibition, many foreign people came to Maruishi exhibition booth, but the number of visitors was generally lower than the last two years. At the exhibition booth, Maruishi displayed each finishing equipment with large panels and also VCRs. This time especially, Maruishi highlighted the introduction for High-speed Automatic Ream Wrapping Machine System which Maruishi has recently received two orders from Shandong Rizhao Wood Pulp Co., Ltd., Shandong Province, P. R. China. (Delivery list no. 122, 123). Maruishi sales engineer Mr. Aoki and Maruishi China office Sales staff, Mr. GAO participated for the introduction during the exhibition. Maruishi is also going to participate the coming China Paper 2003.

13th Japan TAPPI Conference & Exhibition was held at Yonago in Japan from October 17 to 19th, 2001. Maruishi had a large booth and we displayed our stock preparation machines and modern finishing equipment this year.

Stock preparation

Maruishi especially introduced peroxide high-consistency bleaching system, including Japan's largest pulp screw press delivered by Maruishi last year for 240 T/D DIP production and Disc filter, Centerdisc which are also best sellers on the market.

Finishing Equipment

Maruishi introduced New Pallet fork transportation system which is a new product in Japan.
This system takes a paper skid from sheeter by robotic fork and directly transports the paper
skid to the position where AGV picks up without deforming of the skid shape.

In addition, we introduced roll storage system using Vacuum and cranes which have already
been delivered 23 sets, respectively to Indonesia, China, Chili, Korea also we introduced
high-speed folio size sheeter which will be delivered to Chuetsu pulp (5th machine).

At the Exhibition, Maruishi also introduced high-speed kraft roll wrapping machine, which has
capacity of 125rolls/hr capacity with robotic system for inner head and outer head handlings.

4) New Product: Auto sheet Counter at paper/board pile skid

Maruishi recently made a contact with Function Control Research BV, Holland that Maruishi became an exclusive agency in Japan and Asian countries (except Australia and New Zealand) for Function special high speed sheet counter system for paper/board pile skid.

This unique control system can be also adapted laser mark for every 100 - 500 sheet/ream instead of tape inserter and ink mark.
