Licence agreement with Schneider Engineering for fully-automatic feeding system.


In June 2004 the companies Schneider Engineering, Volketswil, Switzerland and Maruishi Co.,Ltd, Fuji-City, Japan have signed a licence agreement for the manufacture of the Schneider fully-automatic (single and double ream) feeding system for all types ream wrapping machines in Japan and some Asian countries.

The Schneider system has been installed successfully in European and North American paper and cardboard mills. The system features:

Advantage / Savings

  • no more tape marks for each ream
  • by using the special sheet counting camera with linked to a computer, the reams are actually counted and not measured by thickness system any more
  • clients will achieve a constant productivity in all 3 shifts, and they will be able to inclease the production (manual feeding results a variation of productivity though day production due to human feeding)
  • after the new system is installed, mills require 1 operator at the wrapping machine.

Schneider Engineering has been established over 35 years ago and is specialized in the manufacture of custom-designed and manufactured guillotines, load & unloading systems, periphery systems and envelop cutting presses.

Maruishi Co.,Ltd has been founded over 60 years ago and is specialized in Manufacturing high speed ream wrapping machines (already 131 machines delivered world wide) plus auto intermediate roll storage system with Vacuum / crane, sheeter, pallet wrapping Machine, roll wrapping machine by stretch film and also by kraft roll wrapping machine, full automatic truck loading system.

Both companies are confident that this cooperation will not only be beneficial for potential clients in Japan and Asia , but that the exchange of information and vast experience of the parties will further enhance the capabilities and performance of both, the feeding system and the ream wrapping machine.
