Maruishi Will Participate LOGIS-TECH TOKYO 2002

Maruishi Co., Ltd. will participate LOGIS-TECH TOKYO 2002,
the International Material Handling, Storage and Distribution
Exhibition to be held from October 15(Tue.) - 19(Sat.), 2002
at Makuhari Messe (Nippon Convention Center). This time, Maruishi
will exhibit Automatic Roll Storage System, Roll Handling
System, Pallet Fork Robot, and also Automatic Truck Loading
& Unloading System and Chuck-type Roll Handling System
with one demo unit.
As the largest logistic equipment expo in Asia, this exhibition
is held every two years. "Creating a New Era through
Logistics Technology -Toward Prosperity for Society and Industry"
is the main theme this year.
The last LOGIS-TECH TOKYO, held in Oct. 2000, attracted 277
companies with 1,484 booths, among which 23 companies with
32 booths were from 7 foreign countries and one region. Around
150,784 visitors joined the last exhibition.
It is the second time for Maruishi to participate such exhibition.

| Maruishi Will Participate the 2002 Japan Tappi Annual Meeting
(Shizuoka Fuji ) |

| Japan Tappi Annual Meeting this year will be held on Oct.
16`18 at Shizuoka Convention & Arts Center 'Granship',
which is close to some biggest paper mills in Japan. Recently,
over 1000 visitors participate this Tappi convention.
Japan Tappi Annual Meeting is an arena for presentation of
new technology /new products in the Paper & Pulp Industry.
This year, Maruishi Co., Ltd. will introduce its innovative
paper machine equipment and also finishing equipment. In the
meantime, Mr. Katsumata from design dept will give a presentation
forwSkid Automatic sheet counter and markerx.
This sheet counter is using CCD camera to accurately count
and laser to mark the stacked sheets for in-line operation.

| Maruishi Will Participate Paper Technology Seminar, sponsored
by Japan Tappi |

| Paper Technology Seminar [head box to press] [Dryer to reel],
sponsored by Japan Tappi Paper Technology Committee, is widely
acclaimed to represent the latest paper equipment technology
in the world.
This year, it will be held on September 2nd and 3rd, 2002
with a theme of [The Latest Finishing Equipment Technology].
This seminar will be characterized with technical presentations
of the newest finishing equipment technology developed by
manufacturers of the same paper/pulp industry sector, This
seminar will also introduce the operating experiences and
technologies of super calendars, cutters and slitters etc.
Mr. Sikrokane from Maruishi design dept. will give respective
presentations to explain in details the rationalization concept
and optimum features of [optima<Newly- developed Multiplex
Roll Wrapping System>], particularly about the "Robot
Lap System", which is highly evaluated around the world.
Also Mr. Matsunaga from Maruishi design dept. will give a
presentation for [Maruishi - Bielomatik The newest technology
of Folio sheeter]. Maruishi-Bielomatik Folio Sheeter has distinguished
itself by tailoring its innovations to meet the customer's
specific needs. Mr. Matsunaga will introduce in details the
new technology and high-tech features of Maruishi-Bielomatik
Folio Sheeter and also its market prospective in the future.
