Finishing Equipment Demonstration at Maruishi head office
mill

On June 17th & 18th, 2003, Maruishi debuted a grand demonstration
for some finishing equipments at its head office mill in Fuji
Shizuoka, Japan. About 74 people from variable regions attended
this two-day event, which became a showcase to introduce and
demonstrate Maruishi machine advantages during their actual
load test.
The highlights of this event are kraft roll wrapping machine
and stretch-film roll wrapping machine that were ordered by
Nine Dragons Paper Industries Co., Ltd. in Guangdong, China.
The production capacity of both machines is 80 rolls/hour.
Kraft roll wrapping machine is designed with a special wrinkle-free
and tight wrapping feature, which is achieved by using a patented
vacuum box to create tension to wrapper to ensure smooth and
tight wrapping quality. Comparatively, stretch-film roll wrapping
machine is simply designed to work with moisture protection
paper or thin film. Moreover, these two machines can be integrated
as a combination wrapping system, with stretch-film wrapping
machine for underlayer moisture protection and kraft paper
wrapping machine for outer wrapping of finished rolls. This
combination system is obviously more ecological because wrapping
materials can be easily recycled to compensate production
cost.
In the meantime, Maruishi introduces other finishing equipments

*New Roller Conveyor for Skid Transportation:

 Small
roll diameter 42mm and pitch 45 mm makes smooth transport of
pallet without tumbling or stacking at joint area. |

*Automatic Skid Dust Remover

 Maruishi
manufactured a pilot machine to demonstrate customers its functions
on site. This pilot machine works only for one skid side, while
actual production machine will work for 4 skid sides simultaneously,
together with vacuum suction brush. Capacity: 60 skids/hour.

*Automatic Truck loading / Unloading System
for Paper Skids and Rolls
(LOADMATE)
|
 Introduce
automatic loading/unloading skid-shaped or roll products by
miniature model and demonstrate its operation in Maruishi.
In the past, loading and unloading were very hard job in paper
mill. Nowadays, only two workers are able to load and unload
roll paper 1000 ton per day with a help of the LOADMATE. Manufactured
products can be smoothly and promptly handled without any
damage because of its automatic operation. |

 Maruishi
also demonstrated its VRL machine for IRS (Intermediate Roll
Storage) systems. So far, 55 IRS systems have been delivered
to be running around the world since it was first developed.
Maruishi has the biggest market share and already delivered
21 units to Asian countries. Among other things, Maruishi will
supply automatic crane vacuum lifter and storage computer, roll
conveyor equipments and etcc. |
