This roll cutter has a special design, quite different from the traditional gyrating roll splitter type.
Before cutting with knife, waste roll is lift up, cut by small amount and then fed onto the pulper conveyor. The slitter knife cuts the paper constantly but only by a few mm depth and a continuous small amount of cut paper is fed out to the pulper.
Therefore, the roll cutter can be integrated with the pulper for total automatic operation. Thus, it can increase the efficiency and productivity of pulper and consequently save energy.
